I am trying to insert data to a CLOB datatype. I am familiar with the DBMS_LOB package and have used it before. My question is, how do you insert the 4000+ character field into the table once the pointer has been set up?

How to insert data in blob and clob columns and how to retrieve it.Plz send me some code for that.
