Hello,

The technical reference suggests that the only way to release a "for update" row lock is with either a rollback or commit command. I am using this "for update" in a form and the commit/rollback option is restricted when I would like to execute it.

Does anyone know of any other way to release a "for update" row lock?

Any help appreciated.

I believe the locks are released when the cursor is closed.
