You need to cater for it yourself. You can create "pre insert" trigger to maintain it. Consider tagging on a user_id field too. It's not comprehensive auditing and you need to take care of updates to records where no changes have been made. Some coders simply always update the DB record corresponding to an Edit screen whether and fileds have changed or not.
