Refresh Detail lines when Header Changes [message #480150]

Hello,

My issues is when I changes the data in Header block the detail block should corresponding data immediately related to header on the detail lines.

The form is based on master detail relationship.

That's vague.
What are you changing in the header exactly. What do you expect to happen in the detail records exactly?

I have 3 Fields in the header.

In Details there is a tabular table of 5 columns where the data is displayed and entered.

Now if there is change in data in the header the data should change as per the conditions of the header .

I can put a Query button but the users don't want to do so.
They want the same should change on fly and they can edit and delete anything they want.

Okay here is an example.

Header
Id :
Name :
PIN :

Lines
Address :
City :
Metro :
Visit Done:
Comments:

Now when the user enter
ID : 100
Name : Saurabh
Pin : 110000

The lines should Display
Address : 123 North Caro
City : GHZ
Metro : No
Visit Done: 1
Comments: none

Now when ID is changed to 2 or any of the header is changed the lines should change as follows
Address : 987 Marco Road
City : IND
Metro : Yes
Visit Done: 10
Comments: none

Quite why you didn't say that in the first place I don't know.
Best you're going get is to put execute-query in one or more key-next-item triggers on the header block.
