hi,

how to resolve this error.when i pressed button,LOV is showing with following error message.I have increased size of that field.
Please give me solution to avoid/hide lov when button pressed.
ERROR:
FRM-40831: Truncation occurred: value too long for field.

Removing list_values from when-button-pressed trigger didn't occur to you?

Well, perhaps that should have been "how to avoid/hide ERROR" (not LOV). If that's so, either enlarge the item you are putting that large value into, or - in LoV's SELECT statement - take its SUBSTRING so that it fits the item's length.
