Reports Problem on Windows 7 [message #513530]

Dear All,

When i run my reports on Windows 7 i receive the following error

Reports Background engine Stopped working

When i view the detail of the error it shows

Problem Event Name APPCRASH
Application name RWRBE60.EXE
Application Version 3.0.0.0
Application Timestamp 38a27e49
Fault Module Name rwlib60.dll
Fault Module Version 0.0.0.0

I think it is sufficient information for you experts to resolve this issue reports are designed in developer 6i please view the attached image for report error detail

Reports 6i is not certified against windows 7. You need to upgrade to reports 11g or stop using windows 7.

Ok if i install run time of oracle forms 11g would it work??

No. You're running a version of oracle forms that's been obsolete for years. It was out of support before windows vista was released never mind windows 7. You need to upgrade.

And you'll probably need to upgrade your DB as well. 9i is obsolete and out of support too.

You have to replace the libraries and NNB60.DLL NN60.DLL in c:\orant\bin for which attached to this solution served me!!!

The attached file should open it with winrar to extract the contents ...
