Hi,
i'm not able to open layout in the custom form.automatically it will be closing and giving this error.
Oracle Forms Designer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Could you provide some more information? What is this "custom form"? In which Forms Builder version was it created? Which operating system do you use?

I have developed one custom master detail form. forms version 6i and operating system XP.

I see. So, when you open a form and want to open layout editor, Forms Builder crashes?

Did you try to reboot the computer? If the same happens again, did anything change on the computer since your last successful attempt to edit the form? For example, did you install new antivirus software?

Is this the case only with that specific form? Do other forms open (and are edited) successfully?

I have connected to client server through VPN.So i have installed Juniper firewall.Yep other forms are opening properly..and edited

Sounds like that particular form is corrupted then. You'll just have to get the previous version out of source control and start again.
